Welcome to ‘Drodrolagi kei Nautosolo’ Home Page on the Web. ‘Drodrolagi kei Nautosolo’ has been considered locally to be one of Fiji’s top premier bands. For the past 14 years, the band has continuously show cased raw Fijian singing talent at its very best. The band currently has 10 Fijian Music CD's to their credit.

The road to success has not come that easy for ‘Drodrolagi kei Nautosolo’ and the band leader Taniela Mavi has certainly experienced it all. With the exception of Navitalai Logaivau (who is also one of the founding member), most of the former band members have moved on. But this has not effected the unique soothing     

vocal sounds the band continue to produce; something the band is renowned for.

Having performed all over Fiji, their ever increasing fans from all works of life continue to appreciate the bands special ability to sing not only captivating, soothing and emotional lyrics and tunes,  but also well loved classical Fijian songs that bring back fond memories and even tears to many.

Taniela Mavi has been fortunate and appreciative over the years of the valuable and much appreciated support from  not only his cousin, Sitiveni Lakolako (leader of ‘Makosoi ni Delai Devo’), but also from his mentors - Peni Cavuilagi (Leader of ‘Senibuasala Serenaders’) and his Dad, Ruveni Salato. Both gentlemen are well known professional singers

in their own rights and have been considered by many ‘Northerners’ as pros in the field of music.

Despite the challenging ups and downs which are usually associated with local artists in Fiji, the undying support of loyal fans and the guidance of professional musicians & the bands associated managements have greatly contributed and helped mould and make what ‘Drodrolagi kei Nautosolo’ is today.
